I wanted to do a spoiler review because my regular review which you can read here, is so basic because I wanted to be as spoiler free as possible. But I’m about to let loose in this one with everything I wanted to talk about.

Continuity Errors – People have been pointing this out in a few places but because I haven’t rewatched I can’t point them out here but I do want to acknowledge that they exist lol. I think with a show like this where there has been time traveling and multiverses, that’s gonna happen.

The Characters (I really feel like Diego is ultimately fine lol)

Luther – So, the biggest thing, which I did mention in my regular review was, “where is Sloan?” I don’t understand why it was never brought up because Luther mentions her name twice. He even says that she wanted kids, or that they talked about it. I can’t remember if this was a conversation they had in S3 but it’s been 6 years and if she’s literally been gone all this time, is it more that Luther just hasn’t actually moved on from her or did he happen to find her again but then she was gone again? Apparently the theory is that Allison traded Sloan’s life for Luther’s life and if that’s the case, I would have liked to have known. Sloan was a big part of Luther’s story in S3 and it was nice to see him move on from Allison so for her to just be gone and no mention of what happened to her is crazy to me. Also, how did Luther become a stripper? Sure, he has a nice body but he has no other skills? Nothing he picked up over the last 6 years? I can understand that Luther has been through a lot and was on the moon alone for years and that he never moved away from the Academy until the events of S2 but I think it would have been great to see him trying. Why was he living at an abandoned Hargreeves Homes for boys? Why didn’t he have an actual apartment? It could have been a crappy one but at least it was his. If they wanted the siblings (and Lila) to sacrifice themselves in their “childhood home” then they could have just gone there.

Allison – So what exactly happened to Ray? Klaus said that he walked out but why? She brought Ray into this timeline even though he’s from the past, so did he know? He was happy to see her at the end of S3. Claire was her daughter with Patrick, so like do they know about any of this? I think it’s clear that Allison was operating under the idea that she was gonna have her perfect family, Ray and Claire (two people who loved her without her using her powers consciously or unconsciously). I just wish we got a look at their life instead of just randomly being told in an argument that Ray left her. I’m sure Allison was able to get back into acting because she made the wish for herself but what happened that she fell into doing commercials for laundry detergent? I don’t mind that her perfect life fell apart I would have just liked to have seen it.

Klaus – I don’t mind that he’s an agoraphobe and cautious, I think it makes sense for him considering that he’s no longer immortal. I also liked how he was the only one who was hip to Ben’s plan and didn’t get tricked into drinking the concentrated marigold. But he ends up getting shot later and in order to save them, the others tell Allison to give him the marigold, she doesn’t want to initially as he said he didn’t want it but she does it to save his life. This causes him to spiral and have a massive argument with Allison. I’ll get into that later. He then immediately goes home (he lives with Allison and Claire) and starts stealing money from piggy banks and even rips their flat screen off the wall to sell for drugs. We don’t see that he can see ghosts again until later with the ghost dog but they kind of allude to it when he says “leave me alone!” while running into the house but I feel like we should have seen his 13 hour trek back home dealing with ghosts because remember, they literally did a road trip to Maine that took hours! How did he get home so fast?? He then immediately goes for drugs but I think he should have tried to handle it without them because we’ve seen him do it and we’ve seen him embrace his powers in the past. I feel like that backslide was unnecessary. There’s more to Klaus than him being a junkie. We know he has an addiction but we’ve seen him overcome it.

  • His Side Plot – So Klaus has this side plot where he reconnects with an old friend (drug dealer) who sees that Klaus can levitate but Klaus owes him money so he shoots him in the head and Klaus comes back to life. So Quinn kidnaps him and basically forces Klaus into a process where he’s being pimped out for his ability as a medium in exchange for drugs and to help pay off the $40,000 debt he owes. He basically ends up meeting a woman, who I actually thought Robert Sheehan had great chemistry with, who wanted to contact her dead husband who Klaus lets possess him so they could have sexual relations. The lady comes back but she wants to find out where her husband hid his money, Klaus finds out and tries to trick her after she indirectly helped him escape (with the broach she traded for the information). He goes to where the money is, she shows up along with Quinn and there’s a shootout where everyone dies. Klaus thought he was home free but Quinn won the shootout and basically buries Klaus alive. This made me think about Misfits lol. I hate that this is so random and in the middle of the season. It feels like an out of place side quest, complete with Allison and Claire running in to rescue him. Now, I enjoyed parts of this but I think Klaus should have already been doing this if we were intent on including it. I feel like that at night when he wasn’t with Allison and Claire, he should have already been doing this as a side hustle. In his spin off graphic novel, which I’m sure that’s where they pulled this storyline from, Klaus (at 18 so it makes more sense that this would happen) gets involved with some crazy stuff with his powers, actresses and drugs and I think it could have been interesting to explore but not how they did it in the show. But since the execution was rushed, I would have liked more screen time with the siblings in general. Some of them hardly ever interact with each other on their own. I don’t think Klaus had any scenes with Viktor or Diego, or even Ben and that relationship (both versions) have always been pretty prominent and they cut a scene with him and Five.

Five – With Five, being that he’s my favorite, I was excited to see what they were going to do with him since this is the first time he’d have lived his life without some crazy shenanigans going on. It sucks for him because he’s already grown up and had some kind of life but now he gets a redo physically and he just has to grow up again. 6 years later, we find that he’s working for the CIA and I’m sorry I cannot see Five working for the CIA. After everything with the Commission, it just doesn’t make sense to me for his character. I literally went “what?” when that was revealed. Not only is he working there, but the director is part of a conspiracy cultist group and Five doesn’t even know. Part of me is like okay because I feel like 6 years of not always looking over his shoulder, he might have become complacent but he works for the CIA there’s no reason why he would ever be complacent. Five is naturally suspicious and observant and that has been clear in each season. In S3, he talked about retiring, so why didn’t he just do that? Go to college or something lol that might have been fun to see. I didn’t mind that he was much more reserved, I mean it has been years without his powers but he just wasn’t as quick as he usually is either. We’re shown that he’s looking into The Keepers and we find out that Lila somehow got involved with them as well as “Nancy”. He’s told to let it go when he reports to his boss but we have no idea how long he’s been looking into them, how he even found out about them (or how Lila did for that matter). If anything, Five should have been looking into them on his own, not because of the CIA. But a lot of his plot revolves around Lila which I will get into later. But when he finds out that his boss was actually a Keeper he has no reaction to it. They don’t even see each other again and it would have been fun at the end when the siblings are trying to get into the store for Ben, for them to fight the mob of Keepers and Five could have had a moment with his boss. Not to mention, after everything that happens with Lila and Diego, while they’re in the store, Five and Diego end up fighting and Lila stops them “it’s over Five!” and I guess with the helplessness of their situation, he literally just leaves and goes back to the subway. I also don’t think Five would do this. I can justify it to an extent because he’s fought for his family and the world every time and when things look hopeless, not to mention, the whole thing with Lila… he’s really down but for him to just split like that while they’re trying to figure things out, lowkey wild. But we did get the scene in the diner which was a good little scene so fine but that could have happened in a different part of the story.

Ben (& Jennifer)/The Cleanse – These have to go together because they’re literally all connected lol. Ben is released from a 4 year stint in jail after a cryptocurrency scam, which I think is so funny since this show never gives us a time period for the current times. We don’t even have cell phones in this show but crypto exists? lol sure sure but he put Luther as his emergency contact I guess and Luther picks him up from jail. They go to Grace’s birthday party but then Viktor gets kidnapped in order for them to come and find him and thanks to David Cross, they get pulled into this whole scheme about finding his daughter Jennifer who got mixed up with the Keepers. Five sees the marigold in the box that Jennifer suspiciously had in her car and they go to dinner and discuss it. Ben basically drugs them all by giving them sake shots mixed with the marigold and gives them all their powers back… but they all get so sick while they’re basically evolving. They go to Maine to find Jennifer and Ben ends up meeting her in her diner but thinks her name is Rosie. They talk, she tells him about himself, and then shit hits the fan and not only are the siblings in danger of being gunned down, Jennifer finds out that she doesn’t know what’s going on in this town and basically everyone knew she probably died during this shootout lol. They run back to the van, she reveals she’s Jennifer, they leave, she reveals she doesn’t know who David Cross is and they get hit by Gene and Jean. During the accident, Jennifer and Ben’s hands touch and there’s a little reaction. Jennifer is then kidnapped. Ben basically after having an argument with the siblings, goes off on his own to find Jennifer while she is with the couple and they talk about the Cleanse but she has no idea what they’re talking about. Though they do show her the squid she was cut out of as a kid and she freaks out… we still don’t know what that was about.

In my mind, since in the graphic novels, Ben’s power is that his body is a portal to this monster dimension which allows him to call forth appendages of monsters but he seems to only use tentacles, so I think he’s been channeling the tentacles of the squid Jennifer was inside of but we don’t know why she was in the squid, nor do we know why she was in that tank in the original timeline. Which, we finally learn how Ben died but I think this was a new development and not the plan from the beginning. I can’t even remember if we learned how he did in the comics yet but I feel like this was a really crazy reveal and I wish it didn’t happen like this. But anyway, they were tasked to blow up the tank but Ben hears something inside and he discovers Jennifer in a pool of water. Also don’t know why she’s in a pool of water lol. But them touching causes the little reaction and they seem immediately drawn to each other but then Reginald appears and shoots them both in the head. The little umbrella visual was fun though. But maybe she could have been “reborn” in the squid that Ben channels when the siblings returned to the wrong timeline… either way, we never found out why the hell she was in there. But also, she was found in that squid as a kid when did this happen? Did it happen in the current timeline? It couldn’t have since this timeline was created, so it had to have happened in the Sparrow timeline so I guess when Reggie remade the world, before Allison killed him, he made sure to bring Jennifer along as well. So many questions lol.

Anyway, Ben meets David Cross on the road who tells him to listen to his body as he keeps thinking of Jennifer and he can feel her calling to him and also bits of pain. So he does and he finds her. They escape and their plan is to just drive I guess. They have a moment in a motel, which was cute, they have sex which unleashes energy waves that kills animals and humans in their vicinity. When we see them again, Jennifer is now really sick and they go into a town, into a store looking for help but get surrounded by the Keepers and now their bodies are becoming gross and disfigured. Basically when Abigail created the marigold, the durango was also born into existence (Ying/Yang) and if they ever met it would be catastrophic, which is why Reginald found Jennifer and her sequestered in Maine so none of the siblings could happen to touch her. It’s unclear on whether or not it needed to be Ben, or if it could have been any of them, it seems that way, but the emphasis is on Ben because our Ben died after saving and touching her. I feel like I don’t mind this overall, but soooo messy. Marigold & Durango meeting is what caused Reggie and Abigail’s world to end originally anyway, even though she died before that world ended, thanks to flashbacks in previous seasons… but Ben somehow knows about the one true timeline because when Viktor tried to pull the durango out of Ben, he was given a vision of the true timeline. There were way too many loose threads with this, the potential was there but they really needed 10 episodes to flesh this out. Ben and Jennifer were fine, I liked their motel scene but I would have liked to have seen them together more before they basically merged into a gooey, fleshy monster.

But we don’t know if Sparrow Ben feels such a major connection to her because of the other version of Ben interacting with her, or if because they touched (or both things simultaneously) that’s making him be a little obsessive. We also don’t know if this could have been any of them, what if Diego touched her? Or Klaus? Or Allison? Did it have to be Ben? What if Five touched her in the van when they were hit by Gene and Jean? I guess it doesn’t matter necessarily but I would like to know lol.

Viktor – With Viktor, he’s moved to Canada for some reason and now owns a bar. Cool. I am glad they made a mention of his music since the violin was such a big part of his character in S1 and it’s a little sad that he doesn’t play anymore. I wish he still did. He tells Abigail, after she comments about it being something they had in common that he doesn’t do it anymore. But I feel like, it could still be a hobby? After all, the music was a big part of his character in S1 and maybe that’s why they dropped it and I know he hasn’t had time to go out and get one, but it’s been 6 years now lol. He has so many pent up emotions, that I feel like playing music would not only help him out but it would make sense for him to be taking it back as a strength. Have a little music class like Dewey Finn (School of Rock). Him owning a bar is so random to me. We’re told that he’s a ladies man and he’s run through all the girls in town which is wild, have some decorum Viktor, but I would have liked to have seen or known why Viktor was a bar guy. That doesn’t seem like something he’d do. He kept saying he had a life in Canada but we didn’t see much of it at all. Also, I’m so tired of Viktor’s daddy issues. I understand, don’t get me wrong, all of them have it but they make it such a big part of Viktor’s story that sometimes it overtakes everything else because I’m annoyed by it. Plus, you’re yelling at the wrong Reginald… but anyway, once Viktor gets all his emotions out, he ends up working with Reginald to find Ben and is determined to save Ben. I think it would have been nice to see them interact with each other more to help build up why Viktor is so determined. Yeah sure, it’s Ben, but it’s not their Ben and this Ben is a jerk lol. I don’t think even have a conversation with each other until that last episode. He had one conversation with Allison which was fine and I was lowkey irritated that he was like “Is this another daddy/daughter ambush??” I was like bro!? Allison didn’t know S3 Reginald was going to try and hurt y’all, please lol. But anyway, I would have just liked to have seen more of this “life” that Viktor kept saying he had.

Character Relationships

Allison and Klaus’s Relationship/Argument – I love that Allison and Klaus are close. In the past, we’ve seen Klaus and Ben basically at the hip and since this new Ben is a jerk, I don’t mind that he doesn’t have many scenes with Klaus. BUT since Klaus goes on this whole rant about the siblings (which he isn’t wrong by the way) and basically lays into Allison for her “god complex” and how she’s always saving him to keep him under her thumb had me scratching my head. Maybe I could see that in S1 with how much she was in Viktor’s business with Leonard but that was always her way of trying to connect with Viktor due to their lost years as siblings. But I personally haven’t seen indications that Allison does things for her siblings to make herself look better. I actually think she tends to be pretty selfless. So, if you’re gonna say that in an argument, then there needs to be evidence to back that up. This is why we should have had one episode dedicated to just catching us up with everyone’s lives prior to the season actually kicking off. Show me that Allison is doing this. She does end having to save him from Quinn, she goes to the place they were holding him and she does get into some trouble but is able to get herself (and Claire) out of it and then she does save him from the gravesite. But it was nice to see him, after flailing for a moment, get himself together to try and save himself. It would have been nice if he was able to completely do it on his own but I think it’s great that Allison and Claire were there when he saw the sun. But again, I would have liked to have seen more of Allison and Klaus’ dynamic so I could have been on his side if he made sense.

Diego & Lila’s Relationship – While I like generally what the show did with them separately, it does lowkey suck that we’ve had such fun watching them grow into their chaotic relationship over the last two seasons and this season basically ended with them separating. But I will always think that Lila is just a little too clever for him and I think she treats him as such sometimes. I think it’s cute when she calls him “my love” when they’re talking or arguing lol and I enjoy how they argue but it doesn’t feel nasty. But this season, it’s been 6 years, they have 3 kids and Diego is unfulfilled in his life as he has a job he’s bad at (until he gets his powers back lol) so he’s just wishing he could relive the glory days when he was kicking ass and taking names. He misses his powers. He misses their life before the mundane. According to Lila, he makes it known too which I’m sure sucks for her and their kids. We actually don’t get to see them interacting with their kids that much and I think it would have been nice to see that more, so we can see that Diego is a loser when he’s at home but that he doesn’t see it that way. It was clear that Lila felt overwhelmed, we got see that. Then during the scene where they access some hidden memories, she tells Diego she wants to take a break and I think she was serious about that. Do I think that they could have gotten back together if we had another season? No actually lol. This leads into the whole Five/Lila thing.

Which… let’s tackle that.

Lila & Five’s Relationship (buckle up, I have a lot to say)

So, when I first started writing these reviews, I was very conflicted. I’m not so much anymore. There are some things that kind of make it complicated but overall I really like it.

At the end of episode 4, Five and Lila get on that subway that Five discovered in episode 2. They’re trying to travel back to before teenage Ben meets Jennifer and was killed. But they end up getting lost in various timelines for 6 years. We get to see a montage (which I really enjoyed) of them traveling around. During that time, we see them surviving but also finding ways to make it through, like playing chess. We see Five patch her up after she gets glass in her foot and we see Lila SHAVING him. Honestly, I was already like “are they gonna…?” before they showed the shaving scene but whenever I see a shaving scene and it’s being done by another person, I’m immediately like “this is intimate”. Anyway, during year 6, it’s easy to tell they’re both so tired and Five mentions a timeline where there was a strawberry greenhouse. The next time we see them, they’re in that greenhouse and you can tell that Five is feeling something for her and then she starts flirting herself. Then they kiss. It’s weird because of Aidan and what this could mean in the present timeline for Lila and Diego (and their family). Now it’s been 7 years and they’ve spent one year in this greenhouse timeline and these two are like affectively in a somethingship. He even called her “love!” AND made her a bracelet. I’m sorry, I like it. Then, Five finds a notebook left by another version of him that explains how to understand the subway map and how to get home. When Lila joins him, he hides it in his bag. Next time we see them, they’re having dinner and she gifts him some instant coffee she found, then he shows her the book and we find out he’s had it 5 months! That’s insane. They end up arguing, well she’s almost yelling and he’s softly arguing lol. But she basically talks about how she has a family, particularly her kids and Five argues that she was unhappy in her life, her marriage with Diego was crumbling and she’s been happy with him which clearly he’s not wrong… but she is rightfully angry. She’s really mentioning her kids and how all this time she’s been trying to get back to them. I really like this scene as well. Phenomenally acted by both Ritu and Aidan. She tells him she’s going back with or without him. Next time we see them, they both have found their way home but of course for them it’s been 7 years but only a few hours for everyone else.

Steve Blankman wanted Five to have a romance and while I think a big part of Five’s story is his love for his family, as he’s done everything for them, having a romantic love does make sense for his character. I mean, again it’s been years at this point. Sorry to the fans who headcanon Five as aroace, that’s not supported in the show as I’ve seen a few comments on that being why the romance shouldn’t have happened. But anyway, Five has always craved love and connection even though he’s grouchy and mean. He was alone for years in an apocalyptic world and he spent that time talking to a female mannequin he was in love with, to the point that he went and found her in the current timeline of S1 to be with her again. Let’s not also forget that he’s told that in another timeline he’s happily married to Dolores, a real woman lol. So the need for love, to be love is there. But that’s why he tries so hard to save his siblings every time so he doesn’t lose them again. He wants to save the world too but it’s always about his family at the end of the day. I think it’s okay, that he would want a different kind of love now that his family has been saved and they didn’t have their powers anymore to mess up their lives.

With Lila, I can see how they would end up falling into love because they are similar. Sure, you can argue that “opposites attract” which is true but that’s not true all the time and it’s not true forever. Lila and Five have always had a chemistry (doesn’t always mean romantic chemistry), every interaction they have has always been fun, electric and antagonistic. They’ve been enemies. Also, yes Five did kill her parents but he didn’t know that and he was commissioned by the Handler to do it for her own selfish and manipulative reasons. I feel like they already hashed that out since I keep seeing people bring it up. In S3, we got to see them work together more due to their connections to the commission and the fact that Lila can mimic his powers so it helped when he needed more power to power up a briefcase. I always enjoyed their interactions and their fights have been really great. Their banter has always been great and Five is smart enough to go head to head and toe to toe with her. Diego and Lila work but in a different way. They’re both unhinged but with Five, their interactions are more cerebral and verbal… but Five can also be unhinged, we’ve seen it. If this was under different circumstances and in a different show, people would love this and ship them. The bones are there. Sorry.

The reason why I’m conflicted about it is because of how complicated the entire situation is and how I think there are some things that I don’t think Five would do as a result of this but I guess I can justify some of it? But firstly, I’m conflicted because of Aidan’s age. He was an adult while filming this but as I said before, it really does feel like the show runners said “Ooop, Aidan is an adult, let’s have him kiss someone”. In my mind that makes it a little weird but not because I don’t think he shouldn’t have that opportunity and I don’t hate that it happened. The other reason why it’s complicated is because Diego is married to Lila and is Five’s brother AND most importantly she has children and I feel like Five wasn’t being understanding enough as to why she wanted to desperately get back home. Lila and Diego always have an electric kind of chemistry but that was different this season which was by design I think to show that they’re both dying a little in this simple little life, they even talk about it a few times. I kind of think that even if Lila and Five didn’t get lost for so long, that Lila would have gone through with wanting to take a break from being with Diego. I think they might have been able to find their way back to each other but with this new wrench in there, this wrench being Five, I actually don’t think they would have. I do feel bad for Diego and I felt bad when Lila told him what happened (very well acted scene from everyone, especially David Castañeda) to them and when he asked her if she loved Five, she didn’t answer but it’s clear that she does. I mean, it’s been 7 years for them and it makes sense that two people who thought that they weren’t going to get home and all they have is each other, to fall for each other. Even if it was just for “survival” as Lila said to hide from Five’s arguments. There are actual feelings there.

Now, I think Five makes some decisions that I just don’t see him making knowing what kind of person he is and has been in this show. I was explaining to my friend that I think Five is probably one of most selfless characters in the show and he makes some selfish decisions that I don’t think he normally would however… I can justify it in that he’s making decisions for himself because he usually doesn’t. Him not telling her about the book until 5 months later? Insane. I understand him hiding it in the moment but I was so shocked to find out the next scene was 5 months later. I don’t think he would have hidden it for that long and if he did, then we should have seen him considering telling her every day and if not that, then almost tells her once but something happens that makes him reconsider.

Also, I think the emphasis needs to be on the kids and I think people are emphasizing Diego more. I feel bad for him but Lila literally kept saying “my kids Five!” I just think he would have understood her sooner. I wish the argument went a little differently to make sure Five wasn’t out of character. Even if he said “I want to be selfish just this once” or something, I might have forgiven that a little more because that makes sense to me.

But anyway, I like it lol.

The Keepers

With the Keepers, I think the concept was interesting. When we meet Jean and Gene, they’re playing a doubles card game and they leave to meet a man peddling in artifacts that are clearly from other timelines. We see the same movie twice but one has one actress and the other features Allison along with a bunch of other stuff. Basically, The Keepers are a cult of people who have broken memories or dreams of their previous lives. If we remember, at the end of S3, the world was ending due to the Kugelblitz and Allison and Reginald basically reset the world using the marigold in the Hargreeves kids. This was all a plan for Reggie to have a world where Abigail lived and of course Allison got Ray and Claire, and she also brought Luther back to life and restored Five’s severed arm. So they were searching for proof of this timeline divergence and they are trying to usher in this “cleanse”. We know they’re not necessarily crazy but whatever they might do to achieve their causes might be crazy.

Jean and Gene kidnap Jennifer after the siblings find her in Maine because she has something to do with the cleanse that we learn about later. They end up meeting David Cross’ character who at this point we know is a liar since Jennifer didn’t know who they were talking about when the siblings mentioned finding her due to her father’s request. We find out he’s actually Abigail, wearing a skin suit, she kills Gene since he was distrustful of David Cross and she ends up wearing his suit and basically pushes their movement into motion. The keepers are activated and they make their way to the store Ben and Jennifer have escaped to, which technically Jean and Gene let them escape. Seems like their plan is just to make sure no one disturbs the cleanse as it happens but they didn’t know what the cleanse was exactly but that Jennifer was the key. Kind of weird. I feel like there’s a ton of missed opportunities here. We don’t know how exactly this group was started but I guess we can assume Abigail might have done something? We know that Abigail wanted to bring on the cleanse because she shouldn’t have been brought back to life and she felt like she needed to atone for her creating the marigold and the durango. Basically, Abigail is orchestrating all of this but I wish this was handled better.

I will get into this in my next post where I share what I would have done for this season (with 10 episodes of course) but I think the Keepers were a missed opportunity. The fact that Five was working under a Keeper, was a great start. Since Abigail basically is helping them or at least giving the nudge for things to happen, there should have been a Keeper in every sibling’s life because they know about the umbrella academy, they had the action figures, they knew all this stuff and assumed that Hargreeves at the center. The CIA boss tried to throw Five off their trail by telling him to shelve his suspicions but that was literally it. It was really a shame. Plus, Abigail (as Gene) killing Jean because Jean knew her husband wasn’t who was in front of her, I feel like really ruined the vibes from the Keepers. If they were gonna kill Jean for being suspicious of Gene, she should have killed her in private OR she should have just told them and I bet they still would have helped lol. Also, how on earth did Five find out about them and how did LILA find out about them???

In the end…

As I said in my spoiler free review, I didn’t hate the season, I just don’t understand why they thought 6 episodes was sufficient enough to tell the rest of this story? I think they could have gotten to a season 5 before ending the show but if S4 had to be the last, it should have also gotten 10 episodes which is the main reason why the story doesn’t work.

So, I hope this spoiler review helped you see more of my thoughts on this season. I have one more post planned where I go into what I would have done for this season. I haven’t really done one of these in a while so I definitely need to rewatch the show and go episode by episode.

Thanks for reading and I’ll catch you in the next post! Also, take a gander at my YouTube channel!

  1. no cause im sooo mad what they did with the keepers!!! the plot had so much potential & then Jean ( i think that’s the lady idk bruh ) just gets killed off like huh????

  2. I just can’t get into five and lila idk call me a hater loll maybe im jealous but i just don’t really get it.

i know they had like banter moments & yea they were cute to me but not relationship cute if that makes sense, i never really shipped them.

i feel like if they brought another character in or like chose someone else for him it would have been better but it probably would have been just as messy of a plot as jennifer and ben.

    1. I think that’s fair, definitely don’t wanna make anyone like it if they don’t, I like it a lot lol and hopefully it’s understood why I do. I probably would have been okay if they introduced a new character as a love interest but then they’d have to establish her and that’s too much when they already had to establish Jennifer and the keepers as new characters.

  3. omg i have so much to comment on so ill leave multiple so i can come back

    1. That was a fake story. Remember that Abigail was wearing that guy’s body? She made up that story to make them go find Jennifer so they could start the Cleanse. There was never a daughter.
